How you describe your concern about your car could be critical to the mechanic finding the problem the first time. You will want to provide as much information as possible, including not only the issue, but when it happens and how often.
The more specific you can be, the better:
- Is the strange sound you are hearing high pitched or low pitched? Is it a screech or a rumble? Is it a light clicking or a deep clunking?
- If you have noticed fluid spots on the ground where you park your car, make note of the color and whether it has an odor.
- If your steering or handling seems off, consider whether the car is pulling or if you feel vibrating as you turn.
- Is the strange smell you’ve noticed sweet or chemically? Does it remind you of rotten eggs or burnt toast?
Your description in
layman’s terms is all our technicians need to begin looking for the source of your problem.
We recommend getting your car checked as quickly as possible if you notice something abnormal. No one knows your car better than you so something out of the ordinary could be the early signs of a needed repair that could ultimately become an emergency if let go.
